Project background
A law firm client with over 12 offices and 800 employees offers their employees mobile devices and plan discounts. These devices are often used for personal reasons to varying degrees. To effectively manage mobile expenses, our client needed to differentiate work-related charges from personal charges and be reimbursed the employees for individual costs applied to company devices and plans.
I had a couple of challenges: timeframe, using Azure app service for the first time, and authenticating clients between two systems.
I developed Mobile Tracker with ASP.NET Core Razor Pages using C#. I designed Mobile Tracker with HTML, Bootstrap, and jQuery.
This new project allowed me to learn Azure's App Service to host my new web application. I learned how to use CI/CD workflows from GitHub to Azure, add SSL, create multiple app slots, and many other features.
